OFFICIAL RULES season 11 Serie B

1. INTRODUCTION

This regulation governs all stages of the Serie B championship of the Italian Rocket Championship Season 11.

This regulation have been formulated to ensure the integrity of the competition and are aimed at promoting an intense but also fun, fair and free of any Harmful Behavior (as defined below) competition during the Game.

This regulation can be translated into other languages. In the event of a conflict or inconsistency between a translated version of these Regulations and the Italian version, the Italian version will prevail.

1.1 ACCEPTANCE

By entering the Competition , each player agrees to follow these Rules at any time, including the Code of Conduct set out in Section 3.3.
Teams and players must accept these Rules as part of the Competition registration form. By participating in any game or match of the Competition, the Player and the team confirm that they have accepted these Rules as set forth in Section 1.1.

1.2 APPLICATION

The responsibility to apply these Rules to all players and to sanction players for violating these Rules, as further set forth in Section 3.4, shall rest with IRC staff .

1.3 CHANGES

Some days and / or league matches may be moved and / or postponed due to coincidence with official Psyonix events, this will be decided solely and exclusively by the IRC Staff.
IRC may sometimes (between one season and another) update, review or modify these Regulations. It will be up to the staff to inform the players of these changes.

2. STRUCTURE

The Competition is made up of 2 phases, the first is that of the Championship and the second is that of Promotion Tournament.

All stages will be played entirely online .

2.1 CHAMPIONSHIP

Starting from September 11th 2023, every Monday evening, from 20:00, 2 championship days will be played, i.e. a total of 8 Bo3 matches (4 for each day).

The management of this League will be supported by the Start.gg platform, so after each series it will be up to the captain to report the results.

The entire duration of the championship will be broadcast in live streaming on the Twitch channel ITALIAN ROCKET CHAMPIONSHIP but only half of the matches will be broadcast, 2 per matchday or 4 per live.
The matches that will take place live will be highlighted with a special icon both on the calendar of the IRC site and on the Start.gg match page.

The matches will be Bo3 , and you will get: - 3 points by winning two zero games
- 2 points by winning the third game
- 1 point for losing the third game
- 0 points by losing two games to zero.
With a result of two games to zero, the third game will not be played.

For live streaming matches :
In case a team does not show up in the lobby within 5 minutes since they are called by a staff member, the victory of Bo3 will be awarded to < b> opposing team for 2 to 0 (the win will be awarded for both games with the result: 3-0, 3-0). In the further event that a team decides to abandon the game in progress, they will be deducted of 3 points and awarded the victory to the opposing team with the current result.

For non-live streaming matches :
If a team does not show up within 5 minutes within 5 minutes after check-in on Start.gg, the victory of the Bo3 will be awarded to the opposing team for 2 to 0 (the win will be awarded for both games with the result: 3-0, 3-0). In the further event that a team decides to abandon the game in progress, they will deduct 3 points and award the victory to the opposing team with the current result.

At the end of the championship, if two or more teams have the same points , the goal difference (goals scored - goals conceded) will be calculated.
In the further case the goal difference is the same, the head to head matches will be taken into account.

The first place team will be promoted to Serie A IRC.
The teams ranked in second and third position will enter the Promotion phase.

The teams ranked in fourth, fifth and sixth place will keep their spot in Serie B IRC for next season.
Teams ranked in seventh , eighth , ninth and tithing will lose their spot in Serie B IRC for next season.

Clubs present in Serie A are allowed to register and have their academy participate in Serie B but it cannot be promoted to Serie A or participate in the Promotion Tournament, even if the same club is already mathematically relegated to Serie A. B in the same season. In the event that an academy achieves one of these objectives, promotion or a place in the Promotion Tournament will be ceded to the team positioned in the league immediately below. By academy we also mean a team with a different name from the one present in Serie A but having the same ownership

Championship start: September 11th 2023
Duration of the championship: 9 weeks

2.1.1 REPAIR MARKET

About halfway through the championship (after matchdays 9-10) you will be given the option to replace or add just one player to your roster.

This change must be communicated in time via private message to following LARU#7747 discord account.

IRC SERIES B repair market starts: October 9th 2023 at 11:59 pm
IRC SERIE B repair market end: October 13th 2023 at 16:00 pm.

2.2 RELEGATION

At the end of both championships (Serie A and Serie B IRC) the Promotion / Relegation tournament will be held on 19th November 2023 from 15:00.

In this phase will access the teams classified in 6th and 7th position of the Serie A and the teams classified 2nd and 3rd of the Series B .

The 6th classified in Serie A will clash against the 3rd in Serie B, the 7th in Serie A against the 2nd in Serie B.
The winning teams will continue in the Winner Bracket while the losers will go down in the Loser Bracket .
The winning teams of the two Brackets will qualify to the next Serie A IRC , while the losing teams relegate or remain in Serie B IRC.
The meetings will all be BO5 .

2.3 LAG AND SUBSTITUTIONS

In case of lag:
Lag Server: In case of server lag, the game will be resumed with the partial and time with which it was interrupted, recreating the lobby in a new server. In agreement with the staff and both teams, the match can also be resumed from the start.

Lag Server Player: In the event that a single player should experience lag due to the server, he will have the first 20 seconds of each game to report it and thus be able to recreate the lobby. If the report is made after having suffered a goal, the match will be recreated with the partial of when the report is made so the goal will remain valid.

Crash Player: in case of crash the lobby will be recreated keeping the time and the result of the game stopped. The team will have 5 minutes to let their player return or to replace them, otherwise they will lose the game at the table.

If a player experiences lag problems after a game is already in progress, the game will not it will be stopped as the problems will be of a personal nature of the player.

* THE RESERVE PLAYER WILL ENTER THE LOBBY ONLY IN CASE OF ACTUALLY REPLACING A TEAMMATE *

The normal substitution (therefore if the problems described above do not arise) can only be done between games, even between games 1-2-3 of the Bo3 series.

2.4 END OF SEASON MARKET AND SPOT

Each end of season it will be possible to change your roster, but to keep your slot in the league, you will need to keep at least one player from the old roster.

Priority will be given to the captain of the team, in case the captain does not want to keep his place in the championship or in that particular team, he can give it to a teammate or to the possible org with which it has participated.
If the slot was left to the org, it will not be necessary to comply with the rule of having to keep at least one player from the old roster, they can then participate the following season with a new roster.

If the slot is already owned by the org, it will not be necessary to respect the rule of having to keep at least one player from the old roster.

2.6 MODIFICATION OF THE PROGRAM

IRC staff may, at their discretion, change the schedule and / or date of any Match or session of the Competition. However, if any changes are made to the Competition, the staff will inform all teams as soon as possible.

3. REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPATION

- Each club / association can own only one team per category.

- Each team can be made up of a minimum of 3 to a maximum of 5 players.

- Each team must obligatorily deploy on the playing field 2 players with Italian Citizenship .

- It will not be possible to play without 3 players per team.

- The championship will consist of a maximum of 10 teams.

- All players of the participating teams must use the Discord made available by the staff.

- Each team will have their own private room on the Discord server and all team members will need to be on discord 15 minutes before the start of the matchday and in their own dedicated rooms .

- Everyone must have the CROSS PLATFORM option enabled.

- A player can register and participate only and exclusively with a team.

- Game Accounts are personal and non-transferable , and each player can only use their own.

- In order to allow the updating of the championship data, each player must remain in the game at least until the scoreboard appears .

- It is forbidden to use the TAG CLAN of other teams / communities in the League.

- All teams playing live stream will be contacted by a moderator to have access credentials to the match; they will have a maximum of 5 minutes to enter the lobby.

- All teams must promptly score and / or confirm the results of the series carried out on the Start.gg platform, with the exception of the games that will take place in live streaming.

3.1 NAMES OF PLAYERS OR TEAMS

Players or teams may not change their Username , game names or team names without the approval of the Tournament Administrators. All of these names must comply with these Rules and Tournament Administrators may request changes at any time. A formation must not contain duplicates of the same name, names that include symbols or names that are difficult to distinguish from those of others.

3.2 TEAM CAPTAINS

Each team must designate a member of their formation as the “ Team Captain ” who represents the team for all official decisions and acts as the main point of contact for the team.

3.3 CODE OF CONDUCT

By registering for this championship you make a commitment, namely to actively participate in the event for its entire duration . The staff creates tournaments to allow users to have a place to have fun and measure their skills. We ask you to be serious and respectful of the staff but above all of other users.

NOT Insults or racist references, incitements to hatred towards players or third parties involved and not are allowed, this to keep a peaceful and fun atmosphere for both those who play and those who observe the matches. The places where insults or racist references or hate speech are not allowed are: Text Chat and Voice Chat of any kind.

The player must avoid conduct which violates these Rules, which is destabilizing, unsafe or destructive or which may make the Game unpleasant for other users. In particular, players must avoid conduct such as harassing or disrespectful conduct, use of abusive or defamatory language, game sabotage, spamming, social engineering, scams or other illegal activities ('Harmful Behavior').

3.4 SANCTIONS AND MEASURES

Violation of any of these rules and regulations may result in sanction and punishment of a team .
The sanctions and punishments are dictated by the directors and are completely subject to their choices and their judgment.

Any violation of this regulation will be sanctioned by a symbolic warning, it can be assigned to a single player and / or to the entire team.

At the second warning , measures will be taken based on the situation and the seriousness of the incident.

A player and / or a team may also incur action on the first yellow card, this in the event that something serious occurs.

The player who leaves the game before the scoreboard appears will receive a penalty.

If we learn that a player is using other accounts in other teams, they will be sanctioned with an indefinite ban from future events, and the teams involved will be disqualified from the current event. course.

Missing too many league games could lead to a timed ban indeterminate by competitions.

It will be only the IRC staff to assess the seriousness of the incident and take appropriate action.

All complaints and / or reports must be accompanied by video evidence and / or screenshots .
Each player has the obligation to continue the game and play it to the end whatever happens (unless an admin decides to stop the game), only at At the end of it, the staff will evaluate what happened and take action.

4. QUALIFICATION

The qualifying for the Serie B IRC Season 11 will take place Sunday September 3rd 2023 at 15:00 on the Start.gg platform and will be available 3 slots .

The teams that manage to qualify will not be able to change their roster for the championship, but will only be able to add players if there are not already 5 players.

They must also provide within 3 days of qualification the following information and materials:

- Team name
- Team logo (png without background)
- Roster complete with nicknames used in game
- Link Start.gg player profiles


5. SPONSOR

The event is organized by the IRC Staff, and will be commented via a live broadcast on the Twitch channel of Italian Rocket Championship therefore it is forbidden for players to broadcast their games live on their channels, but a host to the official channel will be greatly appreciated.
IRC reserves the right to use any Player's nickname, tag, images, videos, game statistics for advertising purposes before, during or after the Competition on any means of communication, in all over the world, in perpetuity, but solely in relation to the advertising of the Competition, without compensation or prior control, except where expressly prohibited by law.

For a better outcome of the event, the staff will undertake to advertise through their Social platforms, and to ensure that the competition grows we ask for support via social from individual players and / or of the org / asd participating in the Competition.
